My Journey in Tech

I felt stuck in my career like I was spinning my wheels and not making any progress. For years, I worked in the tech industry, feeling like I was just going through the motions and not really getting anywhere.

But where to start? I had been working in tech for so long that I wasn't sure how to pivot to something that truly excited and motivated me.

But one day, everything changed.

It wasn't until I had a moment of clarity that things started to turn around for me. I realized that I had been focusing on the wrong things—I was trying to fit into a certain mould, rather than pursuing my true interests and passions.

So, I made the decision to start over. I began networking and building relationships with people who were doing work that I admired. I started taking on new challenges and seeking out opportunities that aligned with my goals and passions.

It wasn't easy, and there were plenty of setbacks and failures along the way. But I kept pushing forward, searching for useful information, and eventually, things started to fall into place. I landed a new gig that I'm truly excited about, and I'm finally making progress in my career. It stretched my capacity, and my ability was tested a great deal.

Looking back, I can see that my journey in tech was a long and winding road. But the struggles and challenges I faced along the way were worth it because they helped me find my true passion and purpose in life. The years of whirling and dwindling suddenly turned around in the last two years. I have more clarity about what I'm doing now than I did three years ago.

If you're feeling stuck in your career, take heart. A change can be made at any time, and pursuing your goals is never too late. Don't be afraid to take risks and try new things. You never know what doors might open for you. And most importantly, remember to stay true to yourself and your passions—that's the key to finding fulfilment in your work.

This year, know that the starting point of all achievement depends on the way you think. Make sure to practice a little bit every day and network a lot (online and offline). Take your health seriously and create time for your family.

All things are possible if you believe!
